Default A3 Gear sets

info on different Gear sets that are out there please, links and info would be good!!

I currently have an M6 in the LT1 car and think we might try a T-braked TH350 with a 4000 stall on this stock motor and see what happens.

But I need more 1st gear to get this thing going!!

I am not totaly sure on all out there, but I know TCI offers a Low gearset for the TH350 with a 2.75 1st/1.57 2nd, the part number for the steel setup is 327500. I think its around $450 for that setup, and they offer an aluminum version for $580 but I am not sure of that PN.

There are quite a few more out there, but this is the one I was going to buy so thats why I know alittle about it.

I went stock gear set in the TH350. The converter will make up the difference. I am in 3rd a little past the 1/8 anyway. I do have a 4.10 gear though.

I had a stock gear set in the other car I had with 3.73s and I ran an Art Carr 3600 and then a Vig 3500, the car always needed more grunt out of the hole, it needed 4.10s and more 1st gear!!

This 97 is alot lighter and more rear gear (4.33s now but may go to 4.10s) so I want all the grunt down low I can get, my race is in the 330' area, after that, we just coast!

If i KNEW it would hold up I would consider but this is no street car so OD means nothing to me and weight is a big factor in determining replacement parts.
