tranny not downshifting from a roll???? i have an 89 iroc with a hotcam and heads full bolt on with a 700r4. the car doesn't not downshift from a roll at all unless you do it manually. someone told me i had to high of a stalh in it. i adjust the line pressure to whare it should be. i bought the car with stuff allready done to it but have no idea what stahl is in it. all i know is that is has a stahl. would to high of a stahl cause this??

No a higher stall converter will not cause that problem unless the converter is bad.You should probably get the tranny checked out. My stock 89 t/a was doing the same thing and it eventually fried the 3rd and 4th gear clutches.Ended up being a bad converter that caused the whole problem.
