Default big stall and limiter problems

Heres whats up. I got a 4200 stall on the car a while back. AT WOT it sometimes bounces off 2/3 limiter and when at WOT in 3rd the rpms will hold at 6300+ rpms but the mph will keep climbing like crazy. However shift points are set at 6100 and rev limiter at 6600. How is my rpm staying over the shift point, but at the same time still bringing in the mph? And i dont hook at all. its spinning most of the time. Is this something with tuning? Ive got hp tuners. TQ reduction is off. whatcha got for me?

It's peculiar about the RPM hanging while MPH climbs,
like maybe there's something that limits the motor RPM
(like running out of airflow under load)? Question is, did
the shift get commanded and not happen, or is the
command held off? If you commanded shift but the
RPM does not drop it may be that the clutch-packs
are trying, but only able to stop the RPM from running
up rather than hauling them down. That'd be bad news
a-comin', if so. Check it out. The 4200 might have
torque multiplication still in it at 6300, making more
work for the transmission to do? Because the MPH lag
and are still coming up, maybe you're not at the 3-4
shift number yet by 6300?

Anyway, got to separate command from result and
see if it's the general (PCM) or the private (trans) who
should be disciplined.
