i see you have MT radials...i think that is the key. a tire is more valuable than susp. parts in terms of hooking up (with near-stock hp anyway). on street tires i spin for literally 80'...on DRs i spin for ~10'.

On the street i doubt suspension will help much with traction, prolly a little but not worth all the cash you'll spend. Go with a nitto or BFG drag radial and youll be a lot better off.

Definetly replace the factory torque arm. I noticed a nice difference by replacing that piece. And instead of buying expensive lower control arms, see about having the factory ones box welded. That's what I did and I've had good luck with it, I'd start there and then see about the panhard par and rear sway bar.

Well the suspension won't all of a sudden make you cut 1.6 60s on the street, but it will help keep the car straight.

I do fine with bmr control arms, panhard bar, poly torque arm mount, and poly trans mount. You should really put it on a drag radial though. I don't feel safe spinning a regular street tire at 50mph.

I had the SFC's, torque arm, LCA's, Panhard, and STB. The car handled like a completely different vehicle. I highly recommend these mods. But I was still spinning through 1st and 2nd until I got the MT streets.
BTW the stall is currently on order and not installed yet.

With my mods and crappy Continentals I'm spinning all over the place and getting sideways if I'm not careful.

suspension helps pu the power to the ground.
non drag radial street tires can't handle the power being put to the ground by the stock suspesion.
The only thing that regular street tires are good for is driving around.

The street tires are the limiting factor. Once you get some drag radials, you can start upgrading the suspension. That's what I'd do first.

I'm in the same boat. Stupid cheap tires.

I'm burning them up pretty quickly so I'll be forced to buy good ones.
