Default how do you pull the seal out of the 4L60E?

I'm changing tranny fluid/filter in my '02 Tahoe and this transmission seal is jammed in there. How do I pull it down and out of there? I've tried little seal puller things that's basically just a small hook. I even tried pulling down on both sides of it at the same time but it's not budging. Is there some other special tool?
TIA

I usually take a small flathead screwdriver and carefully get it on the outer edge of the seal and tap on it with hammer to collapse it into the center then grab it with some needle nose pliers and it comes right on out. Then to install it i'll use a socket and extension to tap the new one in.
