Just get the HD2-B kit, it has everything you need.
As far as the other transgo kits, thats hard to say. They sell almost everything in the HD2-B kit seperate, like the TCC non pwm stuff, the high rev 3-4 springs, the .500 boost valve, etc. They have several different problem fix kits.
But the HD2-B kit is the most complete high performance type kit.

Can you tell me what online store might have it. Speed Inc. My local shop does not have it. Also, does the HD2-B kit have the same basic things that transgo has?

Thanks

There are a couple of changes that you can do that will dramatically help the life of the 3-4 clutch pack, and the 2-4 band. Make sure you address the torque management if you do these modifications. These modifications are for when you use the 9.5" torque converter. Open the 2nd gear feed to .096", 3rd gear feed to .155" - .187", 4th gear feed to .125" - .155". "DO NOT" add any spacers to the 2nd gear accumulator, as this only makes the part throttle 1-2 shift firm to very firm (it gets very annoying). I hope this helps.

OK the full kit number is TransGo 4L60E-HD2-B. This is the most complete performance kit they sell as far as I know.
transmissionpartsusa.com is the cheapest price you will find.
If that non sponsor gets deleted put up your email and I'll send you the address.

It states not in stock. Where else should I try??
The reason why I am getting it is because I am throwing a P1870 code and the trans temp is getting hot. I have had my TC for only 3 months.

Contact Pro-Built above about the HD-2 kit. It's the one you want. He has important revisions to the instructions if you are running an aftermarket stall.

How would I go about contaction pro-built. I am not a transmission expert. I just want to give the local shop specific instructions on how to fix my problem.
