removal and installing converters
What is invovled in changing converters.I have pt 4000 now.Like to go down to a 3200 stall for the street and do you think I will notice much change ? I dont have a lift.

If you don't have any access to a lift the job is going to suck, but it can be done. Try and get the car as high as possible (safely). The main thing's that suck are the bell housing bolts (make sure you have a long *** extension) and laying on your back holding up over 100 lbs.It took me and an experianced friend about 4 hours, but we were on a lift and ran into no problems. If I was going to do this on jackstands I would plan on the car being down for a weekend. Just my .02

Any ideas of a better converter.What I have does the job but stalls to much for the street for me that is.Hers is my car specs.
