Default Conveter = tune?

I plan on adding a converter in the near future but my tuner is about an hour drive away. Will I be able to drive there with no issues? Planning on a 2800 Vigilante if that matters.

You really don't even need a tune for a 2800 stall. You'll have no problems driving it. I had a yank 2800 stall and barely noticed the difference over stock.

I've been using a fuddle 3400 stall since last summer on my daily driver and haven't had a tune. I get some pwm(sounds like rocks in converter) under 2k rpms if car is lugging, otherwise zero problems.

I have a Fuddle 3400/2.1 and I am hitting the rev limiter now. I am going to get a mail order tune to adjust the shift points and the rev limiter.
