Converter Install Pointers

Converter Install Pointers
Alright, I'm getting ready to throw in my 4000 stall on Thursday. I want to avoid any snags if I can. I already know about the cooler line clips, getting the three clicks on install, filling the converter, etc...
Are there any real install issues other than those?
My instructions I have say to replace the front pump seal ( and of course gives a part number conveniently ). If it's good, why in the hell would I want to replace it?
I've already got an awesome shift kit and "Dope" style cooler. I'm doing the install on a lift and have a trans jack handy. I'm gonna holler at my tuner after the install about tuning it for the stall.
Do I have my bases covered, or am I missing something?
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance,
Allen

make sure that you bring your patience and a friend to help...there are a few bolts on the top that attach the tranny to the motor that are quite a pain to get at...some of which you can't even see without a mirror.
