The Yank SS3600 would be a great choice. I had a Yank 3000 with the stock cam and wanted more.

I DD my Fuddle 3600 everyday and I love it. I have this TC on a full bolt on and cammed car with only one complaint (Maybe I should have gone bigger?).
With that said different strokes for different folks, the bigger you get the looser it will feel. If you want it to feel like stock don't go bigger than 3000 IMO.

I have a prototype ProTorque that is a 3000 stall, but with no other mods at all the car goes 12.4 and will 60' @ 1.6 and I'm sure it's better with mods. This is my daily driver and has excellent street manners as well.

I was running a MW3600 with the stock cam and ran great. The Yank SS3600 will drive better than the MW3600. Currently, I am running the SS4000. What is your gear ratio?

I would say 3400, unless you are planning on doing some tuning. I have read that the VCM will throw a code with more than 3400.

Not true.
I started with a Vig3600(actual stall ,more like 4200 rpm)
Then switched to a SS4000(Yank)
now a PT4000 (Yank)
Never any troubles or codes.

stock internal motor and only 3:42 gears(whole rear end swapped out of a low mileage M6 when i smoked my stock one)
1.6 60ft times on Nittos and even better with Nitrous and E/T streets!
