that's the whole point of going to a 4l80e is for the overdrive to some streetability. And I am looking for one to fit in a c5 vette which is even more of a challenge.
Yet I am wondering if there is anyone that can tell me everything that needs to be modified on the trans and car for this thing to fit.

We have a kit to do it!
there are many special costly parts to have made!
some are:

custom case to rear diff. adpt.
shortened transmission case
special input shaft
special stator support
custom machined front pump
custom torque tube
special converter
and more
We will have the conversion kits ready in about one week

I figured you would reply, I should have just called you about this. I talked to ya last week about this trans, I just didn't get to ask you all of the details.
