Energy Suspension Trans Mount
I will be getting a new T/C put in my car soon (going with a Vig. 3200.) Having heard many times that the stock trans mount won't hold up, I'll be using the Energy Suspension Trans Mount.
My question is how bad will the vibrations be? Heard it takes about 1000k for the mount to "break in". Opinions?

It's not that bad. I've got a ES poly trans mount and BOTH Prothane poly motor mounts, AND a Jegster body mount torque arm. I've ridden in many people's cars that vibrate worse than mine.
I'll tell you one thing though, a poly mount vibrates a lot less than a broken stocker, I'm typing from personal experience on that.

it took ~750 miles for my prothane transmission mount to "break in".
i just hated it..even with the 4k stall, the car was SOFAKING smooth, smooth as silk man. then i break my stocker and add that poly mount...i was disappointed at first, now after putting some miles on it, it's ok.
i think my headers and 3" true dual setup dumped at the axle might add some vibration...but it is DEFINATELY not worse than my open headers

i just put a prothane tranny mount in and it does vibrate more but the car feels stiffer and it feels mor positive when it shifts.i even noticed that it feels like it starts a little harder[guess its just not flexing that much any more] i guess ill wait for that break in period.

my stocker was ripped in half and I went with an ES mount. I didnt shave the nub down (that some people do) and i kinda wish I had. It rode very rough for a few thousand miles and even later on it had shaken a loctite'd bolt right out. I would rather have a stiffer mount that the soft rubber one, just an overall better feel of torque transfer to the rear wheels.

I installed an ES on mine about a month and half ago. It vibrated pretty hard but after about a week of daily driving it was broke in. I feel a small amount of vibration under hard acceleration now.
