Default Trans leak ????

I have a 97 Z/28 and I have just noticed fluid where the car was parked. It seems to be coming from the shield that bolts to the front of the trans where the torque converter is, I went ahead and tightened the trans pan just in case it may be a bad seal but, nothing has changed, it just leaves a small amount wherever it is parked. Any help appreciated.

I would try a new durapreme pan gasket first. Also make sure your pan is good and straight.Torque pan bolts 98-108inlbs. I've seen to many leaks over looked because of leaky pan or over/under torque of the pan bolts. Good luck.
