I'm having the Z-Pak and a Trans Go shift kit put in my tranny being rebuilt right now. The Z-Pak was suggested by the shop owner rebuilding my tranny. There are also Alto Red Eagle and Borg Warner clutches available.

I don't know if anyone has posted this. The zpack was designed for towing applications not hp. It's a good concept but I think that the thin steel plates that the one sided friction material is bonded to can't take the heat. What I seen is them warping from heat. I just don't think they can handle going in and out of 3rd in performance applications. I've removed four sets now all were junk. Does that tell you anything. I use a 8 clutch BW set up from FLT. Works just fine!

The Zpac did not hold up for us on neer 700hp nor did the alto's we have had great sucess with borg worner we have over 150 passes on n20 spraying through the shifts at around 700hp with a 4l60e, the last time the trans was opened was due to a yank converter taking a crap and the 3rd pack had less then .010 wear after 200 passes and 6000 miles on the street.
