Fuddle update from LS1 NATS - Australia
This weekend we ran our annual LS1 NATS at Heathcote - Victoria. We ran a couple of Fuddle converters in 3 cars and all performed well. Remember all our cars weigh around 1750kgs with driver.
Fuddle 4400 HP/Street
400rwhp Ute (pick-up) 11.3@123.6mph 1.61 60'
Converter blew slicks off the line so couldnt give it full stall (flash was worse)
All runs suffered 30m wheelspin off the line
Picked up 3mph and consistent 1.6 60's over previous 4200 stall (unlocked)
Fuddle 3200 Performance
350rwhp sedan 11.8@117mph 1.75 60'
Comp 220-220-112 XER cam, Headwork, stock block
This was my old converter
Fuddle 3600 HP/Street
370rwhp Monaro (GTO) 11.7@119.9mph 1.67 60'
My car. Since last run, forged rebuild (stock crank), bigger crane Z-cam, MBP Heads
Converter blew drag radials off the line with any hint of stall. 30m wheelspin Picked up 0.2s and 6mph over 3200 and smaller cam/stock heads
With original cam I ran better 60' because I had power and traction. Moving to full race slicks for next time.
