Trans cooler lines...

Trans cooler lines...
I'm swapping from an m6 to a th350...So I was wondering how to run the lines. Would the lines out of an a4 car fit so I could use those for most of the way, and use a rubber hose like the type in the B&M cooler kit? Either that or just bend up new ones?
Also, I have a 7.5" x 12.75" B&M cooler and a deep-sump finned aluminum pan...Should it be enough to keep the trans cool with a 3800 stall?

I'm doing the same swap, and have a similar question. My question is, does anyone make a fitting that will fit the th350 and adapt it to an AN style fitting? If I had some old lines, I'm sure I could cut them short, flair them, and run braided from there to the cooler. How are most people running the lines?

Most people just use rubber lines. i went fancy and bent up some steel 6 ft lines. it was a PAIN in the ***, but the steel lines will never bust or slip off and the actuallyt help cool the tranny fluid while its going thru them (unlike rubber hosew that holds all the heat in).

Rubber transmission lines should do ok and alot easier to install. I just picked up some from O'Reillys that are rated for 400 psi. Just make sure they have at least 300-400 psi pressure rating.

I thought about doing a hard line in steel or aluminum but it is only rated to 250psi the aluminum. So I wonder if I could do 3/8 stainless steel line with russell hard tube adapters that make them 6an. Then get a trans cooler with 6 an fittings and some fittings for the tranny. Is 3/8 big enough? Inside diameter of a 6an braided line is only 11/32 of an inch. all the material for the lines and ends is only about 70 dollars
