Default Need some info plz help..

Ive bought a Yank 3600 stall, 2.5 str, and am going to put it in my 2000 Z28 (mods in sig), the tranny guy said that this stall is way over doing it and that it will break the tranny, from what ive heard on this forum this is not true, but just wanted to make sure that it will be ok to put this stall in and it will run fine, better, and not break anything. He suggests me putting in a 2500 stall and i just dont think thats right, whats the stock stall anyway? Thanks for the help, Matt

Your tranny guy is all wet. Install your Yank and go kick some ***. A 3600 stall is great for the street. I'm not sure what the stock stall is. I believe it's a 2400.

I believe the stock stall is either 1600 or 1800 rpm. The Yank 3600 will work fine, but be looser than a Yank SS3200, which is the one I'd recommend for a Daily Driver.
