Default 400

ok really simple question here, Could I do a 400 tranny swap going from a 4l60e to a 400 for about $2500? Thats including everthing (tranny, crossmember, drivshaft shortening, shifter) I ask because my next mod is a new tranny and I was looking at built 4l60e's but that just wont hold up to what I want so Im going to do a 350 or 400 swap whichever will hold and is cheaper. Thanks for the help in advance.

Should be able to, of course it depends on how you option it. Mine was 3k installed. But I already had a torque arm that was compatible.

So I know I need a new crossmember, driveshaft, shifter but what about the torque arm? Could I use one from BMR? The one that they relocate it?

I did my TH400 swap for about 2500.
I got most of my stuff used though.
I already had an adjustable BMR TA so I bought a BMR conversion crossmember that relocates the TA to the crossmember.
Tranny, stall, DS, and cooler were all used and bought as a package deal.
If you have patience you can find a good deal on all the parts for a conversion.

I absolutely love how it turned out by the way.
