Trans Temp
How hot is too hot? 210-220ish driving in a th350. Has huge trans cooler, deep pan, etc. Still gets that hot. Any other ideas on what could cool this thing down? Thats without using the transbrake, I think its too hot to try to the transbrake.

180-225 is normal. There are some big MF ones used for stuff like motorhomes and such. I can hot lap mine at the track and never get above 185. You can also use a fan with it and that may help out!

I start gettin worried at 210 to 220.
Are you getting good airflow? If so then maybe a fan is your best bet.
I bypassed the radiator as well with a B&M hi tek cooler and I have only had the tranny in for a couple weeks but the trans temps have not gotten above 150 so far.

Get a B&M cooler with a fan..... they make two sizes, the smaller of the two works terrific..... forget however about mounting it in front of the a/c condensor, wont fit. I have mine mounted vertically, which is how it should be, on the passenger sideunder the headlight, screwed into the frame (fan runs parallel with length of car. The bottom of the fan is roughly even with the black plastic trim that closes off the front of the car (in front of tire of course) I have all stainless braided hose feeding cooler, which runs thru the radiator 1st, then thru the cooler and back to tranny. The fan has a thermostat which I didnt use, it is wired into ignition, car runs and so does the fan..... also have a B&M temp gauge. I live in central california, and have a 3500 stall, and run the car fairly aggressive.... the temp for the last 6 winter months has not gone over 160.... and during the summer when it is not unusual to average 90 degrees with streches over 100 common.... temp rairly climbs above 220....Cant see crap trying to take pics as it is now, .... if there is interest, I will remove the trim and the coolant reservoir and open it up so you can see the install......

Let me get it going on decently hot day and drive it for awhile and we will see how it does.
Not having the AC condenser and mounting it directly to the rad in good air flow helps I think.

I forgot I dont have the front bumper support in there.
I mounted the cooler on the driver side and since I don,t have fog lights either the tranny cooler is getting a straight shot of ram air while driving.
This probably accounts for my tranny temps never getting above 150.
Just thought you might want to know.
