Default th400 short shifting problem

can i adjust my trans to shift at a higher rpm? unless I manually shift through the gears it will shift at 4000 rpms about and I should be shifting around 6600-6800. Is there anyway to get it to shift higher, i am not a trans man so im a little lost.

nope... i thought that just made it kickdown automatically instead of pulling the shifter back, so that will help....

actually, i read that it increases line pressure as well.....better get it hooked up I had it hooked up when i had my th400 and it shifted at 6500 WOT. I used a NOS wot switch and just ran a wire from the battery to the switch...to the tranny. I would try this first....
