I started off with a vig 3200, and when my tranmission went south something must have went through it. When I go the car back with a new trans it foot brake to 4400! So there was something wrong with it, come to find out there were some fins bent. I sent it back to Precision to have them look at it and they charged me nothing for a restall. I have a 2800 now and it is the best daily driving converter of the 2.

My TCI 3000 failed after only 5 weeks! I see we have another victim. I wrote to TCI and asked for compensation for the replacing of the converter, tranny, and installation, totaling $1,184.20. They wrote me a check.
I have a Vig 3000 now, if i had known how driving would be with a converter before I bought it, I would have gone bigger. Precision Industries (Vig) offers 1 free stall change! I'm gonna swap to 3800 when i get the 402ci. 3k is easy for DD. Sounds like 3800 is as well.
