Default Car feels sluggish on launch

have a 2002 Trans Am right now im throwing a tps code I have the mods in sig. Im wondering if it could be anything realated to the tps code that would make it sluggish out of the hole. I havent had the car retuned for the new converter the last time it was tuned for a ssf3500 now I have a new built tranny and yank ss4000. The tps code sometimes puts it in a limp mode where the tranny shifts at 3500 when it clears and u stop and stomp on it from about 1500 it just feels slow and then it picks up. The car feels real fast from a roll. Do you think I could just have the tuner check out the tune and fix the tps and this will be taken care of? Also the converter only stalls to about 2400 rpms shouldnt it stall to like 3000 atleast. I know the converter is good because I had it checked out under warranty and its fine.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Alright thanks alot so you think that may be why I cant brake stall it over 2400 rpm I doubt anything in the tranny could be causing that as it works fine.
