??? a tunnel mounted torque arm has nothing to do with the tranny crossmember. It bolts to the floor where your tunnel brace was before your header install (I had to remove mine). May I suggest a UMI tunnel mounted torque arm? I am extremely happy with mine. Its only hit the floor maybe twice since I've had it and doesn't vibrate nearly as badly as some others have experienced with the BMR and Spohn TAs.

BTW, you're not stupid (you can't be, M6 -> TH400 equals ), we all had to learn about things at one point or another.

Thanks Kpowr82

The nice thing about a tunnel mounted torque arm is no matter what transmission you are using the torque arm will work just fine. Both of the tunnel mounted arms in the links below will work for your swap, it just depends on what exhaust system you are using. If you need any help send me a e-mail or PM.

Hope that helps

You'll find it hard to buy a T/A that looks or performs better then an U.M.I.

The part # of the relocation mount you need is TCC010 if it's a LS1 car and TCC014 if it's an LT1 car. This will mount the TA002 to the car no problem. What is nice about the relocation mount is you can move the nose of the torque arm up and down to control how the power is applied to the tires. If you have any other questions just let me know
