Default p0751

Im throwing a code saying shift selanoid A is is stuck off or something about performance. I'm also having a problem with my converter unloicking on itself in 4th gear every once and a while. What does, this mean? Could they be related? WHat should I do?

The people at Autozone said there might be something actually stuck in a seloniod. How would I be able to tell without ripping the thing apart.

Don't think the code is correct - Probabaly P0751? Doublecheck if that's what AZ told you. I'd do a search in this forum for both P0751 and P0757.

if its a performance code then it is valve problem or problem in the hydraulic circuit. since you have a stall it may just be a false code due to the computer not knowing that it is dealing with a tc that isn't stock.

I have a problem with my converter unlocking itself at cruising speeds occasionally, could this be a factor?

computer probably commanding the convertor off and on as a safe-gard. to know for sure one would have to take a test drive and watch the solenoid command status on the scan tool to see what the computer is commanding versus what is accually happening.
