Default where to buy flexplate

I'm looking for a mezeire flexplate for my 6 liter. My 4L80 TC is set up for an LS1 style, but it's going in to a truck. does anyone have a part number for the right one and maybe a sponsor that carries them?

Also, I heard I will not need a crank spacer if I buy the right flexplate, is that right?

You will need the right TC input snout, the flexplate won't fix that I don't think. At least my TCI one didn't.

Cheapest place I found http://meziere.carshopinc.com/produc...id/78576/FP319 .

Retails for $425.

That place is a rip off. I bought my Meziere flexplate for $330 shipped to my door. It is a really nice piece.

Wow! Can you share where you bought it for $330 shipped to your door? I can find them for $330, but not for the LS1. I called Meziere and they said it was a $425 flexplate from them. That was a little rich for my blood but I definately would of paid $330 for a one piece billet flywheel.

When Neal Chance made my TC, they made the snout I think 3/16" longer so no spacers were needed. Also, Yank, PI, and some others will do this longer snout as well. Neal Chance has done several like this for us LS1 guys converting to TH400 and Know they're ****. Mine fit perfect with the longer snout and the TCI flexplate.

Okay, gotchya. I'll have to measure my TC to figure out what I have. I'll call Yank and see if they can tell me if I'll need a spacer or not after I measure it. Thanks guys.

definately check. If you bought a TC from Yank to do a LS1 TH400 conversion, Yank most likely gave you the longer snout.

Actually I bought it from another member. It was for an 80 with an LS1 flexplate. Not sure of any other exact applications it was made for. Actually, Yank said it was probably made for a TCI "flat" plate.
