Use the search function. Do a search for the name of the tranny company. If anybody has posted anything about them it will bring it up. Usually you get what you pay for. If they are selling their trannys cheaper than our sponsors it is probably because they aren't built to the same quality level. TCI, Rock-on, and FLT are the best of the best plus their sponsorship money helps keep this board free for us and they are on this forum helping us and giving us free tech advise. Personally I have a Rock-On 4L60E and it is living behind 600+ hp and living through 1.4 60' times and 6 second passes in the eighth mile. I'll bet your brand X tranny could never do that.

I did talk to Dave (I think) at rock-on and he seems like a cool *** guy. I did search and have read good and bad story's on all 3 mentioned company's mentioned and the XXX company I was reffering to.
From the descriptions on the parts listed, its all the same parts. So why did TCI quote me $3K and XXX company quote $1645 and no core required.??

Can't you just list the name of the CO. and not their website? I see tons of threads with non spocered products brought up. It's really just asking an opinion on the place right? Maybe I'm off on the rules here!

I saw it mentioned over in another thread and did not want to steal that one so I started another one. The name is Maddog transmissions... Just wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with the guy. Not saying that I am buying from this guy, but feedback would be great.
