Can't find the answer in search... Rebuild questions...
Alright, after 7 F-Bodies I've been throught plenty of LT1's with 4L60E's but this is my first LS1 with a 4L60E in need of being rebuilt... It's a 1998 Z28 with 141K....
Question 1: On LT1's I had the electric solenoid replaced with a vacuum modulator so line pressure would increase more accurately to the horsepower band... is this neccessary on the LS1??
Question 2: I always put Trans-Go shift-kits on the other cars... BUT I heard once somewhere it would be bad on an LS1 car... Any truth to this?
Question 3: Plan to go with around a 3500 stall... I know Vigialante and Yank are the top converter manufacturers... Are there any others comprable but less price? I just don't want to end up loosing power due to a crappy converter...
Any other tips I should know before I talk to a shop?
Thanks!

#1 never messed with that
#2 yes transgo is the way to go, just go easy on the washers in the 1-2 acumulator
#3 yes a 3500 stall is perfect but you can always go bigger and be just fine!
