Default 4l60e green plug

i just installed my new transmission and its slipping bad in all of the forward gears.

i couldnt get the green plug all the way in. the plug is located on the right side of the transmission so what does this control.

so this is why my trans is sliping i tried everthing i could but it wont clip in thanks.

You might want to remove the the connector all together. Look at all the pins in the transmission inturnal harness case connector. I'll bet you a that the is either some junk in there or some pins that are bent. Good luck and let us know if we can help. Vince.

I put a stall in a buddies LS1 car and had the same problem. Turns out the plug that mounts on the tranny had come loose and when I would try and push the connector down onto it, it would just push it in the tranny. See if that is your problem. If it is, you can fix it with a good amount of JB weld.

a new harness is about 35 bucks if the plug is bad

Is that the little two wire plug(ez to get to) or the big mama handful of wires plug?
