Default Which Tranny?

My tranny is starting to act up. I have about $2000-2500 to spend. I'm wondering what to do. Should I get the 4L60 Rebuilt( I bought the car and the tranny was already rebuilt). The shift from 2nd-3rd gear is slipping at anything above 2500 RPM. I have heard though that the 4L60 isn't really a strong tranny for power so I was thinking of doing a swap.
What would the best combe be( TC and tranny wise) for the money if I decide to swap? Is a TH-400 or TH-350 better? ALso, what would be a good TC stall for the car. P.S. It is a daily Driver, Probably be driven at the track every few weeks.

if it is a DD then the 400 will suck b/c no overdrive. 4L80E would be my choice but you are looking at 3k-4k. best bet is to get yours rebuilt. should be able hold a decent amount if built right
