What gear's do you have?
I have 2.73's so I went with a rather mild 3000 stall with a 2.0 str.
That really livened the car up, like night and day.
But now, some 5 month's later, I wish I'd have gone a little bigger.
Find out what gear's you have, then contact one of the vender's on this site, and get a recomendation.

That's a good, safe number to go with if you are just wanting to liven your car up.

Most people will say don't waist your money on the gear's.
The stall is where the action is.
Like Z28/2002 said, 3500 stall will put some fire under your butt.
If I had to do it again, I would have passed on the 3000 stall and went with a 3500.

I picked up a TCI 3500 and a TCI Flexplate for $400. Should be in the car this week.

go with a 4,XXX or you will regret it i am telling you. I made the mistake of going 3600 thinking that would be enough. I was one of those guys who would cringe when i heard a number like 3,600. Well 700 bucks later i wish i had at least a 4000. to be honest i want a 4400. Oh well, sometime in the future.
