Default tranny cooler cause car to over heat!!!

well befor i put the th-400 in the car. The car would run at 180 degress all the time!

now that we put the tranny cooler infront of the fan the car goes to about an average of 220! At one point it got to 230

does anyone think if i have the tranny cooler move about 10 inches away it will make a difference

if im standing at the front of my car it goes tranny cooler then a fl-20 pusher fan ( pushes air into the radiator) and radiator. what is going on is the fan is trying to suck good air and the tranny cooler is on the fans ***!! and the fan is sucking all the hot air from the tranny cooler and blowing it all towards the radiotor!!!

im broke and i dont know what to do!!!

i'd say move it and see what happens, seems like that might fix it...

sounds like your coolant is not flowing.

Where did you move the cooler to? I'm about to install one on my car with the th400 swap, curious as to where you placed it. Also, is there a fan on the cooler itself?

I was plannign on putting mine right in place of the ac radiator.. I figured that would be the best place to put it and probably the easiest.
