Default Best pan gasket for A4 ?

Whats the best pan gasket for an A4 ?
Not the cork type stuff, but somthing like the factory rubber one except thicker ?

Who sells it ?

The factory rubber type ones are the best IMO. Stay away from CORK

I agree. When you watch the cork gaskets, as you are tightening the bolts, you can see it sqeaze from the top of the pan a lot earlier than the OEM. The OEM will squeaze too, much you can tighten the bolts more.

I agree about the OEM. I just used a cork gasket and it is working fine, but the bolts are just over finger tight which is the way they were when I got the car. If you go around the pan and tighten a little each time, cork will work fine. I like the neoprene gaskets...they might be the OEM material...not sure. Most dealerships carry them. They are the same price as cork but much better.
