Default Art Carr?

Anybody have any experience with them? Are they good converters or should i go with something else?

Dont waste your money or time! A buddy of mine had bought one and swapped it within the first week.

Depends on which Art Carr. The original sold his business in... Nevada I think and those are basically a waste of time and money if their trans is any indication. The real Art Carr though, now in CA, makes awesome stuff from what I got. He's probably best known for the 200-4r used in G-bodies like the GN and Monte Carlo SS in the 1980's. I've gotten and used a trans/converter from each company, the second because I didn't realize they'd changed over. The 1st was excellent and withstood nearly 500 lb-ft torque and over 500rwhp 1/4 mile abuse and survived for over 30,000 miles. The 2nd... Not so good. I ruined it entirely within 1 month.
