Prevent an A4 LS1 from going into overdrive at high cruising speeds....approx 90mph? What rpm range are you fellas in at about 80mph with 3.73 gears? Any help would be greatly appreciated....thx

no sir, it only increases the speeds at which shifts happen. the only way you'll lose OD is if the guy screws up horribly installing it

Iguess i's only in 3rd gens where you need the kick down valve or soemthing like that. What about rpm ranges on the highway for 3.73s

no...shift kits will make the car shift faster, harder, and on command (should you choose to manually shift it). also, shift kits improve oil flow throughout the transmission. computer tuning is the only way to adjust when / what conditions the car shifts into OD (unless you hold it in 3rd gear).

at 80 mph my car spins ~ 2,800 rpm with 245/50/16 tires on stock 2000 z28 (16x8) rims.
