Default thining of going M6->TH350, read faq's and still have questions

im getting fed up with my manual tranny (messing with the hydrolics actually) and im strongly considering a th350 swap

i would most likely be going with a rossler trans, but i have questions on other swap parts and where to get them.

questions i have:

flexplate - which one do i need and where do i get it

convertor - do company's make specific convertors for an ls1 mated to a th350, which ones.

driveshaft - will the t56 shaft in the car now work. (if not do i need a shorter one or longer)

pcm - do i have to do any tuning in the pcm for this, key word being "have to"

i would end up getting one of the t/a mount conversion crossmembers so thats no problem, and i know shifters are just personal preference but its the other stuff i have questions on.

anything else i need to look into?

also has anyone down a good writeup on this swap yet?

thanks in advance

get a 98 flexplate that has dual bolt pattern or a TCI one, a crank hub adapter ($29.) bolts on your flexplate and you can use a regular th350 converter, one that you would use in like a 69 camaro or whatever. They do make a special LS1 converter for a th350 but twice the price and you dont need it if you use the adapter.

Tuning shouldnt be an issue. since your shifts are controled by vacuum. Might idle different since its under a a slight load, depends on converter. But it will run. driveshafts are the same, except the th350 might be a hair shorter, im not sure.
You wont have a provision for reverse lights, have to put one on the shifter.
