gettin a 3400 stall
ok so Im gonna take the plunge and get a 3400 stall thinking like a 2.1 STR, so my next question is how much is tuning gonna run me, I will be doing the install myself....will I be able to drive the car after the install w/o a tune? all I have done at the moment is lt's, catback, ory, lid, shift kit, and a tranny cooler....also has anyone heard of these guys? http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/ they look pretty good, im thinking about getting a stall from them....

personally I would recommend fuddle. When I bought my converter I was about two weeks late to get it their sale price but john still sold it to me the sale price. Yes I would recommend getting a tune after the install. Yes you can drive it after the install just dont go WOT throught the shifts as the car will bounce of the rev limiter. Hope that answers your questions.

I wouldn't go with anything less then a 3600 stall with something around the 2.5 STR area. You'll get something smaller and then regret it. I bought a SS3600 and I wish I would have gotten the SS4000.

Do a simple search for Fuddle, you'll find post after post about their terrible business tactics, you'll see that they never return phone calls, pm's, or e-mails.......... and that people are left out in the dark on a regular basis not knowing what is going on with their orders............ now welding problems are being noticed when people finally do get their converters.
