Default trans cooler install

I am going to install a trans cooler this friday on my 98 Z.. I think the outlet is on the bottom of the radiator AM I RIGHT??????

it is the line that has the clamp on it, I think the top one is the outlet.

I mounted mine in front of the radiator, but you can mount them anywhere you want

Un hook both lines and crank it up....you'll find out by which line the fluid comes out of. As soon as it starts pumping shut the car down. You may only need to start the car for a few seconds.

I looked at might this morning and it is the top line, that is the line that has the clamp on it, the other line has like a swedge on it. hope this helps.

I have used that way before on my monte carlo ...BUT the trans is not in my Z28.....

did u put your trans cooler on ???? or did a shop do the work??? i have people telling me its the top and i have people telling me its the bottom.

****, I just did mine and I dont remember. And I cant go look either because my car is about an hour away

I have seen written documentation by GM which states the oppisite of what was said in my Hayden instruction manual. I don't think it really makes a huge difference in the operating temp.
