Default slippin tranny help

got a 3.4 firebird with a 4l60e. if i take off giving half throttle, it slips. if i punch it, its fine any ideas?

sounds like maybe something to do with your line pressure but i am not for sure!! but when you're cruising the line pressure is low which might be causing it to slip but when you punch it the pressure goes up which makes i grip and not slip. i am not for sure so if im wrong someone please let me know.

You may have Transmision internal issues , but before I went there I would do the followig , Have vehical scanned and data watched see if the tps is even smooth an within range , If it is I would pull pan and replace the pcs solinoid , note look at back of solinoid where wires hook you will see a torx screw in the middle turn it 1/4 turn clock wise before you install , Of course whil you have the pan down look for excessive debris and if there you may go ahead and install the pcs but it will be a temporary help to a more serious mechanical problem ,
