i installed my converter and felt all three steps (clicks) so i thinks its seated all the way in the transmission. i need to know the correct distance from the trans mounting surface to the converter mounting surface. the measurement i got was 1 1/8 inches.the dimension from the block to the converter mounting surface on the flexplate is 1 1/4. which means the converter is coming in contact with the flexplate a full 1/8 inch before the block and the tranny mounting surface touch. i know this is not correct. i just dont know what is giving me the problem(converter,flexpate,tranny or it might be me which is problably the case) any info is a big help
