Default m6 to auto questions

i was looking for already searched questions and found a few things but not everything.
1. what tranny to go with? th350, th400, powerglide?
kind of heading towards th400.
2. i have a 4.56 geared rear end.what stall for the th400?
3. speedometer switch,where do i get one?
4.torque arm, what do i do with it?
5. crossmember?
6.radiator or tranny cooler?
7.where do i pull the vacuum from?
8.what flywheel do i use?
9.driveshaft, dont know where to start?
Any other information your are willing to give will be greatly appreciated

1. That one is up to you.
2. If this is a street driven car, that's way too much gear.
3. Why not just have the car re-tuned?
4. Stock or aftermarket? If aftermarket, get a chassis mount bracket.
5. You'll need a new one for any of those transmissions you listed.
6. Radiator should be fine, but you'll want the biggest tranny cooler thet B&M offers.
7. ?
8. Check out TCI
9. Stock rear or no?

As for additional info, check out the sticky at the top of this forum and the manual trans forum on swaps. I added alot into one of them when I did my swap. Plus there is some really good info in those.
