Default need help asap

i have a 4l60e and all of a suddon after hitting a bump or something i have to manually shift my car 1st second, drive hen over drive
it wont shift if im not up to speed ...... i even have to down shift to second when i slow down whats wrong here

Check all your electrical connections on the transmission. Sounds like something is not snapped in all the way. I don't suggest manual shifting into first gear without any power to transmission because it will cook the low and reverse clutch. Have you checked the computer for codes? I'll bet you have alot of trans codes.
