Default Need help decide which tranny

Alright i gone through three 4l60E in the last year (lots of drag racing) i have a 9" with 4.11 gears, bolt ons, ls1 plate nos system (no tuning stuff yet) i need help with what tranny what i should do; build another 4l60E, th350, th400 and if a th350/400 what all parts do i need to do the swap and have every thing work. The car is only driven on the weekends in town. Lots of help would be greatly appreciated!

Well I would definatley stay with the 4l60e , reasons , better launch , and overdrive , and drivability , The 4l60e can be built to hold up !

Thanks but not really worried about drivability sees more track time than road time, but how much would it cost for a good tranny build that would last and or to put 350 in a 99 camaro.

If you have broken 3 60Es then you need to skip the TH350 and go right to the TH400.
You will be much happier having to spend the money only one more time.

Lingenfelter builds $75,000.00 twin turbo 427's. I think there trannys will do. Rossler builds all of there trannys, and when you call Rossler you acutally talkk to Carl Rossler himself.
