Default what would be the benefits...?

I am thinking about purchasing a transmission pan cooler:

now I know that these are a must for stalled transmissions, but what about normal ones? would I see any benefits?

just curious.

Ive looked at a lot of peoples mod lists and I dont see many pan coolers, has anybody tried one of these before?

I was also reading the descripton on the pan cooler and it says "Will not fit applications with the OEM (3.05") deep pans." is that our type pans? or would that bolt right up to ours?

just looking for info
thanks
