Do i have to get a different converter or is it different for a early model small block to a gen 3, and what all do i need to convert over to a 350 turbo Thanks!

Bad idea man really a turbo 350 is just a 4l60e without overdrive if a th350 can handle what your doing a properly built 4l60e can to trust me if you saw the internals of each you would understand ,Stay with the 4l60e and get a good one and you will be happy .

Yea LOOKING at the parts....it's the way it shifts that makes the difference. Meaning the 4L60E applies clutches on some shifts and applies/releases on the 2-3 , this is the weak spot. The th350 just applies clutches during shifts. A stock th350 is stronger than some performa..nce builds.
You need a converter spacer, crossmmber mods, etc to use a th350 in an LS1 F Body.
