Default What dipstick 4l80 in a f body

Theres the lokar(Expensive and nice) and the stock(Cheap) one I see the speed engineering sells. Any help Im really close!

Im using the one speed engineering sells. It fits but it sits under the cowl. You can get the one they sell from any gm dealership. Just get it from a 01+ 80e truck. That is what i did. You will also have to get the dipstick.

Default I use..

I use a stock style dipstick thet I have shortened to the length that i wanted.
Be sure too take off the same length from both the pipe and the stick or your reedings will not be right.

i used the 4l60e stock one...i just massaged it awhile.

does the stock 4l60 stick read full / add in the correct spot? and the 4l60 lines work directly as far as the way they attach right?

Just buy the lokar. It works and is simple to install.

they are both lokar, one is firewall mount, one is transmission mount.

above we are told the lokar stick works nice, but not which one.

Cant answer your question but I just used the stock 4l80e like mentioned above. I like it because it tucks under the cowl and you cant really see it.

i bought the cheapest one i could find, it was a hughes 4l80 stick and tube from jegs for $20 i heated up the tube and bent it over one more time to clear the cowl, looks like stock.

mine was a black tube with a red locking handle

its in the car in the same spot you would expect it to be on oem
