Default Aprox price of Having a shop change out a transmission

I broke my 4l60e in my 95 z28 a few weeks back and found one used in good condition for $300 w70k on it out of a 99z28 Anyone know about how much having a Transmission shop install the transmission would cost me? Also would there be any compatability isues with this change or any extra parts I would need to buy?

I'm not sure, but I keep hearing that the input shaft(drum) is shorter on a lt1 car, the bellhousing is different too.

The tranny won't work in your '95.... unless it has an LS1 in it...
