*HELP* should i buy a TCI converter
im on a buget and a friend of mine is so pisst that im about to buy one, says its a peice of junk? i was looking at the TCI Super Street Fighter, 3500 Stall Speed, 2.5:1 STR or 4000 Stall Speed, 2.7:1 STR .......the 4000 is 50 dollars cheaper? wonder why.......ive had a 4800 stall in the bird before it tore it self to peices and killed the tranny......it would lock up at like 30mph if i was put putting around.....i hate that, can that be changed? i want a yank SS3600 but nobody sells em around here, and i need one like yesterday!!! so gotta settle for the TCI unless yall know something i dont......i think it runs for like $490 for the 4000 stall and $540 for the 3500 stall.....where the yank runs like alittle under $700

I've been daily driving a TCI 4400 converter for about 2 1/2 years with no problems. It has been a great converter. The 3500 is a great street/strip converter. I would expect about a .6 drop in ET with that converter. If you're in a hurry, let me know. We should be able to get you one pretty quick!
