Default How do you know if the 2/3 is going..?

I am not hitting the rev limiter...
But it feels very sluggish...
Like its kinda lugging when it shifts...

Now here's the thing...
My ET's are NOT slower & MPH is NOT slower..

However, SOTP "tells" me something is not right..
This thing is just not shifting, quick, crisp, firm..
I know I'm not imagining this..

Am I?? without reduced 1/4 mile speed & times.....????

Actually you coul be right it may be in the early stage of failing a slight slide into 3rd rather than a bump might not affect your times in and easily measurable way . but if the 3-4 clutch is sliding it it wont be long before it does have a big effect ,

If you think something is going on... drop the pan and take a look. Maybe your 3-4 clutch is starting to go or the band. When the transmission makes a 2-3 shift the band must release and the 3-4 clutch must apply. You could also be having a tie up with one circuit or the other. Just a litle FYI. Vince
