Default 4l60e suburban 99 to formula

im not a transmission guy... basically do not know squat about em. my transmission has been rebuilt 3 times. the repairman told me the last time just to get a used one this time around, they are already broken in and will probably last me longer. i just want to fix and sell my car since i just got my hands on its older brother (z06). my question is ....would the 99 suburban 4l60e fit my 96 pontiac formula? the guy that posted the ad said it was from a 99 suburban with 60000 miles. what would i need to change on it to make it compatible? is it worth the 400 dollars posted?

thank you in advance for your help.

You will have to swap the tail housing, shifter linkage rod, and the 2nd servo. This will make it pretty close to your original unit and should work fine in order to sell it.
