Default drag radials with torque converter

how high of a converter could i probabally go with before i need drag radials in order to hook the tires i am all stock cept for a slight upgraded trans like corvette servo and only plan on being on street

lol mine squeels the tires through first then kicks a little on the 1>2 shift on a 1000 stall with the stock convertor.

You'll probably need DR's with any aftermarket converter to utilize its full potential. A lot of that has to do with the STR. The higher the STR, the harder it hits and the less likely that you'll hook. Higher stalls will also affect that. DR's should be included in your plans with any TC.
